American Disability Association (ADA)
American Disability Association supports children with disabilities, as well as their families, so they may live abundant lives.
If you’re caring for a child with a disability, you may feel exhausted and stressed out as you juggle caregiving duties with work, parenting, and managing your household. We understand that even under the best of circumstances, caregiving can disrupt your sleep habits, eating and wellness, household duties, and finances. Eventually it can take a toll on your physical and emotional health. After all, you can’t be on-call every minute of the day.
As a network of support and resources, ADA creates new opportunities that empower and enhance the quality of life for children living with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other disabilities. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we offer our support because we truly believe that assistance for disabled children and their families should be available to all.
